Call for abstracts
The Scientific Committee welcomes you to submit abstracts of original contributions on different topics for presentation at the congress.

The committee is planning to offer 3–4 Young Researchers’ Awards. Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 1, 2007

Abstract Preparation Guidelines and Abstract Form:

-Abstracts must be submitted BOTH electronically and on paper. Online editing is not possible. Please download the form, complete it and mail it to abstractumea@gmail.com . This address is reserved for abstracts only.

– The abstract title should be typed in capital letters. The name of the presenting author should be underlined. Abstracts should preferably be submitted in a Scandinavian language, but English is also acceptable. Only abstracts typed within the abstract form box will be accepted. Please use 10 pt Times New Roman font (smaller fonts are not accepted). Abstracts copied from a MS Word file should be checked for the correct appearance of special characters and symbols.

– Please indicate if you prefer an oral or a poster presentation. Type name and full address, including phone numbers and e-mail address of the presenting author.

– Please notice that the final acceptance of abstracts is dependent on the author’s full registration, i.e. completed registration form. (You will be charged the fee by Umeå Congress.) You will find a link to the Registration/Hotel booking form at a coming update of www.medhistumea.se

– The abstract form must be sent as an attachment to abstractumea@gmail.com. An automatically generated reply will acknowledge the receipt of your abstract. If you plan to contribute with more than one abstract, please attach all of them in the same mail, because this automatic reply will be sent only once.

– An original of the abstract (on paper) must be sent to the congress secretariat. This should be identical to the abstract submitted by e-mail. The congress secretariat will acknowledge receipt of the abstracts.
